In this photograph is shown the set-up presently in use at the H8 tertiary beam line at the CERN SpS to test the Atlas pixel detectors.
We use a silicon strip telescope, made of 4 planes of detectors, each reading both x and y coordinate.

In the central region the pixel detector(s) under test can be rotated ad tilted.
The trigger is given by the coincidence of plastic scintillation counters and one silicon diode. The amplifier box of the latter is also visible in this photo.
The telescope is presently placed near to a dipole magnet. It can slide in for tests with magnetic field.
