Member of the Physic Education Research Group (PERU) headed by Prof. Marisa Michelini at the Department of Chemistry Physics and Environment - Physics Division (DCFA) of the University of Udine since 2009.

Adviser of the Interdepartmental Center for Educational Research (CIRD) since 2013.

Research Field: Physics Education.

My current research interests and activities:

- design and development Cognitive Laboratories of Operative Exploration (CLOE) for primary and lower secondary school pupils;

- investigation of the use of Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) in teacher formations in the context of Modules of Formative Intervention for in-service and prospective teachers;

- design and development of ICT tools for the enhancement of formal thinking;

- designing new courses based on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPCK);

- analysis, evaluation and design of Web 2.0 tools to improve learning and teaching methodologies.
